Dr. Danny Young-Afat studied Medicine at the University of Amsterdam and completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Amsterdam University Medical Center. He further specialized in breast reconstructions and microsurgery through dedicated fellowships. His experience with complex reconstructive procedures has refined both his technical skills and his aesthetic understanding of the human body, forming the foundation of his meticulous approach to aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Young-Afat has a strong focus on breast surgery, developing highly specialized expertise across the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive breast procedures. This includes breast augmentation (using implants, lipofilling and hybrid techniques), breast lift and breast reduction, breast reconstruction after congenital deformities and breast cancer (using implants and the patient's own tissue, including microsurgical techniques), and gender-affirming breast surgery. In addition, he has a particular interest in body contouring procedures, including high-definition liposuction. His work is centered on creating natural, harmonious results that complement each patient's individual anatomy while respecting their personal goals and expectations.

Dr. Young-Afat obtained an MSc and PhD in Clinical Epidemiology, and remains actively involved in scientific research alongside his clinical work. His research focuses on improving quality of life and outcomes after breast surgery. By integrating research into daily practice, he continuously evaluates new techniques and innovations, ensuring that his patients benefit from evidence-based care and the latest advances in plastic surgery.

His approach is characterized by passion, surgical precision, honesty, and genuine personal attention. He believes that successful plastic surgery begins with listening carefully, understanding each patient's motivations, and providing clear and individualized options.
